Our talented designer, Shannon, took the lead on creating these gorgeous floral designs for Chelsea and Bill’s Spring wedding. This couple wanted whimsical, garden-inspired designs with a color palette that incorporated shades of blush, cream, sage, and a frosty sky blue. To bring the design vision to life, Shannon chose a selection of seasonal greenery and blooms including seeded eucalyptus, hypericum berries, dusty miller, stock, Queen Anne’s lace, roses, spray roses, thistle, delphinium, and tulips. The flowers looked and smelled amazing!
The outdoor ceremony took place on the terrace of Villa Antonia, a unique venue overlooking the stunning Texas Hill Country! To dress up and soften the space, our team placed two fresh greenery garlands along the aisle. Next, we placed our gold metal pedestals up front, topped with beautiful floral designs inside of white ceramic compote containers. This was the perfect frame for Chelsea and Bill to share their vows in front of their loved ones.
The bees were definitely enjoying our flowers that day too!
Can we just take a minute to soak in and appreciate all of the different textures used here?! When creating floral designs, especially when looking to achieve a garden-inspired vibe, it’s important to use a variety of materials so that you have textural interest. You have the soft and fuzzy dusty miller, contrasted by the prickly thistle…then you have the delicate and small blooms from the Queen Anne’s lace, contrasted by the larger and smooth textured-blooms from the tulips. So gorgeous!
When there’s a grand staircase leading into the reception space, why not have some fun with it? 🙂 We carefully draped wild smilax vines along the banisters, then dressed up the bottom of the stairs with a few fresh blooms for a hint of color. The guest table centerpieces included gold stands, topped with a floral design in our gold mercury compote containers to tie everything together. We added in a trio of votive candles, and voila! These centerpieces added height while also allowing guests to still see each other and hold conversation when seated for dinner.
