Jesica Moran is our amazing shop manager! She is a first generation college graduate from Texas State with a degree in Art and we are thrilled to have her positive, enthusiastic personality on our team. With her background in art, she picked up the wedding floral world quickly and it excites us to watch her continue to bloom into a designer. Outside of working in the shop, you can find Jesica daydreaming of corgis, watching Lord of the Rings or eating tacos!
Shannon Marquez has loved flowers for as long as she can remember. She got inspired to become a wedding florist after helping make some bouquets and centerpieces for her sister-in-law’s wedding in 2019. Shortly after, she began her florist career and has joined us in hopes to become a more creative, diverse, and unique designer. Outside of work, she loves anything Marvel, dog, or music related.
Romé Schweitzer grew up in a family of multi-generational Hawaiian lei makers that mark every milestone and celebration with florals and leis. A couple of years ago, she jumped into the floral world freelancing for various well known ATX floral studios. She is thrilled to be part of the amazing team at ZuZu’s Petals where she is excited to grow even more as a designer. Outside of work she loves coffee with her husband, hanging with their kiddos, or planning fun meetups with family and besties.
Sarah Kehrer is a fifth generation Texan who moved to Austin shortly before getting married to her husband. Her career started when she attended the Teleflora School of Floral Design in Oklahoma City 20 years ago. After that, Sarah started her own company that specialized in wedding and special events. Since then she has gone on to work along side some of the top designers in our industry. When she is not busy being a mother of three , you will find her working in her garden, fishing or crafting.
Toni O’Neil grew up in northern New Mexico and has been a flower lover since she was a child playing in her mother’s beautiful garden. She designed the wedding flowers for her son and daughter-in-law and was hooked. Working with flowers became a passion! She went back to school and completed a certificate in floral design and is excited to pursue doing what she loves. She also loves the outdoors, camping, cooking, and even grinds her own wheat to bake her own bread.
Haven Medrano is our go-to guy when it comes to installations or building frames for any of our floral artwork. He is always available to help out, whether it’s floral related or bug and snake related. In his free time Haven models for Tumbleweed TexStyles.
