Picture this: Central Texas, with its warm, Texan charm, becomes the backdrop for a wedding day filled with the spirit of Mamma Mia. While it might not be the Mediterranean coast, there’s something undeniably enchanting about the rolling hills, the wildflowers in bloom, and the warmth of Texan hospitality. In this captivating photoshoot, we bring the magic of Mamma Mia to the heart of Central Texas, where love takes center stage, and the romance of Italy is seen and felt at Villa Antonia in Jonestown, Texas.
When we were approached by Caitlin Delgado, a brilliant wedding planner, to collaborate on a styled shoot our first questions was…. who is your photographer? Our second (which almost didn’t matter at this point) was – what is the location? Knowing that Mylah Renea, a FANTASTIC wedding photographer, was going to be the photographer we knew we were going to say yes. Knowing the location was the beautiful wedding venue Villa Antonia sealed the deal!
The model, who also happened to be the hair and make-up artist, fit our theme effortlessly. Diana Marie came not knowing she would have to step in to be the model and she pulled it off like a professional.
These bridal photos at Villa Antonia encapsulate the venue’s beauty and the bride’s radiance in perfect harmony. We used two floral wholesalers to make these beautiful arrangements happen. Austin Flower Company and Mayesh Houston made our vision come to life by providing some of the most beautiful blooms we have ever seen!
Fuchsia peonies, fuchsia ranunculus and pink dahlias stole the show with their fluffy petals and large blooms. We added some light blue floral like tweedia and delphinium to break up the colors a bit and highlight the beauty of all the different shapes in the arrangements.
Morgan Pearl Cakes provided the most fragrant and delicious wedding cake our flowers could team up with. The cake took center stage with our flowers in the background creating a frame around this bold look.
We worked our magic and used all the flowers in multiple ways so the next stop was the fountain. This created a great space for our model to take some more bridal portraits and show people that you can take them in places that you would normally not think of.
Our blooms traveled to the terrace next. We were paired up with Action Rental Waco to create this beautiful table scape. Make sure to reach out to them for your next central Texas event!
Detail shots are some of our favorite photos that Mylah takes so we always make sure that we have plenty of floral bits to take her so she can work her magic as well! Is this fine art photography or what?!
These stairs have seen many of our beautiful blooms so we just had to take these center pieces to highlight one of our favorite installation sites!
Our personal favorite piece from this elegant photoshoot would have to be the grooms lavish, sophisticated and unique boutonniere. Shannon spend some time on this special wearable that was new to us. We learned this technique and decided to run with it and make it our own!
We would like to thank all the vendors that made this magical day happen. Special thanks to Villa Antonia for hosting this Mamma Mia Shoot and for Caitlin Delgado for gathering all the perfect wedding vendors together to create this magic!
